If you speak Chinese fluently they will begin to speculate - how come he’s been here so long and is claiming he doesnt have a girlfriend? maybe he’s got a wife and a girlfriend… or maybe he’s got some kind of problem and thats why he doesnt have a girlfriend…
Whatever the reason, I dont think its a plus in terms of actually finding a girlfriend. Its certainly not helping me any these days!
