What is it with Taiwanese kids and baseball slides?

I am seriously thinking of spreading gravel in our school’s hallway. The boys (not all, but mostly it’s boys) keep running down the hallway as it’s quite long and doing baseball slides. I keep telling them that sooner or later someone is gonna get hurt or bash his head on the floor or worse, slide into someone and break their ankle.

I have punished them in the Remember Chair, but the next day, HA!, or the next break…whizzzzzz, there they go doing John Elway pansy slides.

Do have have this problem? What, aside from tieing their shoelaces together, did you do?

grrrr

Maybe they really like your “Remember Chair”.

Are you suggesting I put gravel on the Remember Chair?? :smiling_imp:

Well there’s your problem right there. Show them some Pete “Charlie Hustle” Rose videos so they can do the slides right!

Hmm, that and gravel…

Four words: a well-placed foot.

I’ll let you ponder that a minute.
