Canadian Sentenced in Child Porn Case

KINGSTON, Ontario (AP) — A judge sentenced a Canadian man to three years in prison Friday on child pornography charges involving more than 60 victims in Canada and England in what police called one of the largest child porn cases ever prosecuted in Canada.
Police accused Marc Bedford of talking young females — some as young as 9 — into exposing themselves over an Internet webcam, and then threatening them with rape, bodily harm and death if they did not cooperate.
Bedford, 23, pleaded guilty in January.
Judge Judy Beaman accepted a joint recommendation from the prosecution and defense that he receive a three-year sentence. She also banned Bedford for life from communicating with children under age 14 online

I am a child of the seventies. I notice that popular American men’s magazines from about 1968 to 1975 commonly joked about youth sexuality - which seems to be taboo now.
