Maybe, but I’m now glad that narcissitic goes up to VERY HIGH lol

I got bored and quit half way through.

I always wonder how accurate those things are anyway because half the time I am trying to manipulate the answers and the other half I am not sure that I understand the question. Like the one about being afraid of losing loved ones. Well duh. Is any normal human being not afraid of losing loved ones? Perhaps you are nuts if you answered no on that one. Anway the other one I liked was the one about whether or not I thought my needs were more important than other people’s needs. On that one I wondered “To who?” Are my needs more important than other people’s needs to me? Reckon so. But part of my needs are to treat loved one’s well so how does that figure in. Do I recognize that my needs are not more important than other people’s needs in the grand scheme of things? Another big “well duh” on that one good buddy. Anyway one thing I do know about psychology is that tests like that are dangerous because they encourage people to start analyzing themselves without the sort of background that would allow them to do so with any real insight. As far as I know the psychological profession has so far not even managed to come up with a definition of mental health, so until they have at least got that far I’ll stick with the approach outlined by the Dalai Lama. At least his system works.

Antisocial? Hell no! Now fuck off and leave me alone!

Histrionic: Moderate

All the rest were low. I guess I’m denying my problems.

Love your avatar Notsu. I have it on a postcard and use it as a sort of sort something in many “He left right? brain film studio and language school” film productions. For some reason it always reminds me of my wife. Guess she looks like an Eskimo or something.

honestly…me too

Before feeling too sorry for yourself there kids go check out what it would mean to be narcisistic. Since I rated high on that one I had a good read through of the link posted there. I’d say it is about a halfways decent description of me. For example I actually do think that I am a pretty amazing person in a lot of ways. However I also happen to think that A LOT of other people are pretty amazing too. Way more amazing than me. If I had to rate myself I’d say I was about two thirds the way up the pretty amazing pole. If you knew half the shit I lived through you’d probably agree. Anyway it went on to say all kinds of other crap too but I forget what exactly. Something about forming all kinds of shallow relationships from which I (as a narcisist) am supposed to demand all kinds of praise. WTF. And we narciscists are supposed to demand respect for our unique talents despite our frequent lack of recognized achievement in the community. Well I think that goes back to what I was saying about a lot of people being pretty amazing. Except, as far as I can tell, quite frequently the real movers and shakers of the world. The most amazing thing to me about those people is their ability to suck it up the ass. Anyway I feel a bout of narcisistic rage building here as my delusional self concept faces annihalation under the weight of the psychoanalytical scrutinity that my superior intellect enables me to perform before your very eyes right here at forumosa so I better end this nonsense right here.

bob, I like being a bit narciscistic.

Hope it helps the book sales. :smiling_imp:

Even if it doesn’t it will allow you to formulate a convincing enough justification in the event that book sales are not what you had hoped. Lets not go there though. I’m betting your book will be a smash!

well obviously, if it doesn’t sell…people just cant understand it. lol

I just have OCD. I’m not weird like you guys.

Apparently I’m weird because I’m not.
