No human words. None needed.
OK, good - thanks. Thatās what I thought, but seeing the (automated?) showtime announcements saying Chinese subtitles had me concerned.
Yeah, this. Pretty unique.
Actual recording artist. A female ginger, quite rare.
I thought it was pretty good, but the ending seemed forced and contrived. OMG they ran away and snuck into Disneyworld, just like that poor kid kept talking about earlier!!! ⦠please. Give me the real ending where the kid gets taken by CPS and the emotional fallout from that.
I think a show with no words was unique but then friend mentioned shows like Minions, Tom and Jerry, etc. So maybe not so unique.
Shaun the Sheep?
Baby Ruby on Netflix. Jesus Christ.
This would be cool. Turns there is quite a few.
The Red Turtle is worth a watch. Pretty amazing French animation about a shipwrecked man. Deserves a bigger audience. Coproduced by Studio Ghibli.
Another language question: has anyone seen Anora here, and what was the subtitle situation with all the Russian? English and Chinese subs, or Chinese only?
I watched āCliffhangerā (1993) for the first time since I was a kid. I was surprised how fun it still is. Definitely worth a rewatch if you miss those kind of high adrenaline action thrillers that only Netflix still seems to make (this is better though).
Absolutely loved this. Just so quiet and peaceful and beautifully filmed. And Iāll spoil it by saying nobody or nothing dies!
Finally saw this last night. Very good acting. A real mystery movie. Catch it if youāre interested and avoid spoilers. As @tango42 noted, a very good twist ending.
Every so often I try to cross off classics from yesteryear that Iāve somehow never watched. In the past week Iāve seen āThe Green Mileā and āDeliveranceā, both enjoyable (although TGM is a tad too long). Next Iām going to try āDances with Wolvesā (which sometimes gets crap for stealing the deserved Best Pic win from āGood Fellasā which came out in the same year, but is still supposed to be decent in its own right).
Itās funny how people think it has the worst day for night scene and I love that part because of the photography.
I never wouldāve known that was a problem for some unless you had told me.
I enjoyed it. A fun thriller that made me uncomfortable enough not to want to watch it again any time soon. Or visit deep Appalachia (if it even still exists like that). I also appreciated it was more grounded than thrillers today in which one protagonist will take out like 5-10 bad guys.

Summary
And Drew was wrong⦠they wouldāve definitely been railroaded by the backwoods justice system if they had gone to the local police. I also donāt think he was shot but chose to kill himself.
Iād give the movie like an A-.
