Ha, no, I’m pretty sure I have a Herbert CD somewhere with a Matmos track on it I liked. And I also liked some adjacent stuff like Kid 606 and Hrvatski, so I bought that CD through the mail as we once did. But it never totally grabbed me.
Herbert is still DJing.
After hearing about her death, I actually listened to this song for the first time and it’s hilariously politically incorrect. But honest as hell from a guy who actually served quite a bit of time in the stir. Latest comment on the youtube:
