I’m getting ready to mail off my applications to NTU CLD and Chengchi Mandarin Studies Program. I figure it would make sense to just start my acdemic year with the Fall term (Late August) and go on, but I was wondering how wise it would be if I started in the Winter term (late November) instead?
Would I be behind and miss out on important course offerings? I know this is affected by how I would do on placement tests.
I’m tempted to defer a few months so I can quit my current job, take a higher paying contract job for six months and make more cash before I come over.
