I applied for a 60 day tourist visa in Hong Kong. I picked up my passport a few minutes ago to find a slip of paper entitled Visa Application Form For Entry Into Taiwan.
It has a barcode, my picture, and an expiry date (60 days hence). It also bears a stamp instructing me to present it to a visa officer at the airport in Taiwan.
Am I going to have to pay again? Is it just a straight swap? Are they going to actually let me in, or is there still a possibility I’ll be declined entry? What the Hell?
