looks like it’s on the grey market site i use sometimes
I watch that sometimes. He’s okay. I can only get through one every few days or I start to get nauseous watching him plow through six pounds of burritos or something.
Love & Death on HBO Max, there’s hope for ugly dudes everywhere. Set in the 70s as well.
Black Rabbit
Very dramatic with Jude Law and Jason Bateman is a damn good actor.

Wicked textually very graphic true documentary.
The detective show is one of my favorite genres. Here’s a series I came across recently: The Sinner (Netflix).
The twist with The Sinner is that it’s not a whodunnit but a whydunnit, with the main character (played by Bill Pullman) trying to understand why the puzzling main event of the season happened.
Somehow I ended up in the final season, 4, without going through the others first. That may not have mattered much, as I didn’t get the impression there’s a lot of carryover from one season to the next.
The show is well done (if a bit overlong) and has terrific acting. It’s also, well, awash in misery, so it’s not exactly light entertainment. I haven’t decided yet whether to try the earlier seasons.
I loved that series. I think season 3 divided fans of the show, and it was probably my favorite.
I watched the first two episodes of Peacemaker Season 2 last night now that they’re all out. I love this show.
I adhere to ‘start as you mean to go on’ and all that, but I thought there were a surprising number of penises in the first episode for a big, dumb DC show about superheroes. Makes all the pearl-clutching over Batman getting his cock out in “Damned” a few years ago look fatuous.
Anyway, can’t wait to see where the train wreck of Peacemaker’s life grinds to a flaming halt.
The Diplomat
8/10
Wow. Very real attempt at authenticity and amazing story with completely unexpected plot twists and turns. Wow. Stick through the first couple episodes. Watched first two seasons so far.
The big problem with binge watching (in this case The Diplomat) is that you have to wait until a new season is released and you don’t want to watch one episode at a time when it is released.
Damn, The Diplomat is good. Think I’m going to queue it up for a re-watch.
Task was pretty good, FBI/biker thriller.
Started black rabbit now, good so far.
I was watching the chosen. Very emotional.
That’s what I don’t like about it. The intrigue seems forced. And WTH is up with Ronnie the elephant in the room? Is the point to not notice her?
Seems like they needed a woke character. Doesn’t get much attention but leaving option open to add to story.
This one has me fascinated. I’ve learned so much:
Jeeves and Wooster TV show from 1990s UK.
Light-hearted comedy if care for the concept of intelligent butler subtly resolving his boss problems. Based on P.G. Wodehouse book series.

That was unexpected!
