I’ve used the free Eudora-version for somewhat more than a year now, and I used it occasionally before that. I think for now, I’ll stick to it. I’m used to it, and apart from the font/encoding thing, it feels okay to work with.
But, dl7und, thanks for the tips. We had Pegasus at uni but I rarely used the newer version (we had some old DOS computers, just for emailing, with a respectively old version of Pegasus). I’ve bookmarked the Heise site. Here’s another one with downloads etc, similar to Heise, also in German: zdnet.de/
