What's better/easier - APRC or ROC citizenship?

I read in another thread that it’s possible to apply for ROC citizenship - does anybody know the process? If so, would you please post it.

And what’s the benefit over the APRC?

By the way, I’m a Canadian - been here 15 years; married for 5. Just wondering which one I should apply for.

Much appreciated.

I’ve got it, cooling tower is done and dusted and another forum member is close to becoming an ROC national.

Benefit, an APRC expires if you leave Taiwan for more than six months… :loco: :loco: You’re better off with a JVRC…

You have to renounce your canadian citizenship to becoma an ROC national but don’t worry… you can get it back.

Benefits, you get to vote and you won’t need unecessary paperwork for some things with an ID Card…
