A while ago I remember gary talking about a program that checks all the drivers and all the programs on your computer and tells you if you have all the updated current versions or not.
I searched, but I couldn’t find the post.
Does anyone know the program I am talking about?
Another one I found is DriverAgent.com
I don’t think either of these are the one I was thinking of, but they do pretty much the same thing.
Unfortunately they are pay services.
Do you know of any that are free?
I use VersionTracker Pro. VersionTracker is like download.com–a shareware site. They make software that can see what’s installed and check it against all the apps they have on their site.
Think about it. Either it needs to be from a shareware web site or one person needs to do a lot of work to keep track of all of this. It’s not going to be free.
