I saw that there was a thread for buxibans trying to attract new students and that got me thinking about the way I have got my privates in the past. They were usually a friend of a friend who needed to bone up on English for some reason (moving to US, taking GEPT, want to study abroad, etc.)
But I’m interested in the collective experiences of teachers out there. How do you usually get your students?
