What's the very BEST damned burger in Taipei?

There’s a Ram and Stallion hotel that sells the best pizzas in Boorowa.

Fuck, my man, there could be some sweet IP infringement reporting bounty in store for us here! Get on the horn with these blokes!!!

Wait, do they have phones in Boorowa???

I think this should be a sticky. If one is ever in Boorowa and looking for the best pizza in town this is indispensable information.

Or the best beef noodles.

Anyone tried Big Steve’s Hamburgers?
They originated in Taichung. 3 locations in Taichung. 1 in Neihu. And 1 just opened in Sanxia.

I had their double Western bacon cheese burger and it was decent. Even had crispy bacon on it. The bun could be better though.

I ate at Wagyu Burger today. It was good. Perfectly clean kitchen. It seemed like they’ve added something to the meat because it had the texture of a meatball. Maybe I’m wrong? It tasted fresh and not frozen.

Hamburger Helper? :astonished:

Which one did you get?

I thought it had the softer rich texture of wagyu.

I had the original. My dining companion had the Sichuan.

I was wondering and thinking that I may be mistaken. I’ve had Wagyu steak and I don’t remember it being mushy but more buttery. Did you notice the white color of the meat before it was cooked? Almost looked like a flour or fat coating.

Looked good cooking and tasted good.

Burgers are not just meat; people usually mix beef, pork and then garlic, olive oil and sometimes flour too.

Guys, just accept that you cannot get expensive beef for 200 NT… in Taiwan!

I don’t imagine you can in many places if any.

Maybe I forgot an “especially”. Beef is not cheap in Taiwan, and it’s usually crap with meat glue.

It did taste good and not overcooked. I think I prefer Burger & Co because they grind their own beef and cook it like a Smashburger. Everyone has their own preference.

I can’t even eat their hamburger. But I like the pulled pork.

See…everyone has their own preference.

I’m still with Punchburger near Shida or Oldiesburger (more elaborate burgers) near Taipei main station as best burgers in Taipei.

I pass by Oldiesburger on lunchtime and I never see any people inside. That is why I haven´t dared to try it. Tonight is a good time to do so, as I was planning to eat somewhere downtown in order to avoid the reenactment of the Exodus on the MRT. Any particular recommendations regarding specific burgers there?
