What's the very BEST damned burger in Taipei?

You’re a trip. Is there anything you won’t argue about? How do you know what I like?

You just told us what you like. Are you one of those people who goes to a good steak house, makes them burn it, and then puts A1 or ketchup on it?

I like my beef cooked to the consistency of shoe leather, exactly.

That’s what is more politely known as well done, which is exactly what you said you like.

Yes! Finally we’re getting somewhere  Enjoy your steak.

That bottom one looks a little underdone.

At least you’re no longer denying it. Kudos.

Then what the hell were you arguing about?

He’s arguing that taste is subjective and he quite enjoys tough old shoes.
Everyone has their own fetishes.

Are we going to need a 15 minute break on how people like their food cooked?

I’m pretty sure overcooking steak is punishable by death in Italy.

But not arguing.

As If! Telling someone else how they should enjoy their beef is crazy talk. The right way to cook beef is as you like.

ground beef… still red… :Barf no f’in way I’m eating mass produced ground beef below medium well. If a place grinds it themselves, that’s a different story.

I doubt most people like rare-medium rare.

I said pink to red to include room for medium when it’s ground (as I reiterated in another post). Don’t distort my words, please. Point being that it’s not supposed to be overcooked and dry. I didn’t realize that was even considered debatable.

It’s remarkable how many things are debatable on forumosa. :upside_down_face:
