Whats your favorite 24h convinience store

Personally I prefer Family-Mart (fresher than the others, more choice and some good foreign products) and they still have some old prepaid cards on sell.

I know they are all alike, but please, tell me what diffrences you see that I didn’t notice.

My favourite is whichever one happens to have the prettiest girl at the till at any time.

Apart from that, they all seem pretty much of a muchness to me.

My favorite is the one that is the closest.

If two are equally close then my favorite is the one without a customer paying many bills and mailing stuff at the counter.

No particular favorite, I like them all for their convenience.

Whichever is closest, unless one of them has a Hello Kitty magnet promotion on, in which case that one.

Family Mart for candy and Orangina, 7-11 for everything else, and local ones for that bodega feel when I’m feeling homesick.

What about “Mr Bean”, having a massive franchise of 3 stores in Taipei: specialising in very old tea eggs, stale lunch boxes and epsilon semi-moron staff.

Right now Family mart because if I buy a $1000 IF card I get 13 MSN magnets. YIP YEEEEEE :rainbow:

Don’t 7/11 have some sort of hotline to the police, and offer to act as a safe haven if you’re being followed by a dodgy character or something? That’s what my wife said once, anyone know any more?

7-11’s is better, don’t know about the rest though.

7-11. Toured their GDC once. Pretty good for Taiwan.

Only Hi-Life and Circle-K have Diet Coke (actually, “Coke Light”) in the 20oz plastic bottles. There are more Hi-Lifes around than Circle-Ks. So my vote goes to Hi-Life.

I’m surprised nobody picked the betel nut thing (giving my bad prejudgment about the vast amount of english teachers here). Guess next poll should be “Whats your job” :slight_smile:
