Where can I get visas for Vietnam and China?

We are going travelling to China and Vietnam in late October. We currently live in Taipei - does anyone know where we need to go to get a Vietnamese and a Chinese Visa? Can travel agents sort it out?

Any help much appreciated.

For China you need to go to a travel agent and they will mail iyour passport to Hong Kong. Make sure to give them 7-10 days to do it.

Not sure about Vietnam though.
