That is not play-asia. They are good for some things but sure importing sucks…but I can get it cheaper by doing the importing myself.

Physical store? Most likely not. When game systems are region coded, you’ll only find the Japanese version in Taiwan. Closest place you’d find a store with NA products would be Hong Kong. Know anyone going on a visa run soon? There’s a toy store in the Hong Kong airport that sells US Wii games, so they might have 3DS stuff too. Otherwise, try looking on Ruten and Yahoo auctions if you really want to buy it from within Taiwan. I got my first 3DS from Yahoo auctions a few years ago, NA version for about $6000 TWD.
