I have an old iphone 4 that I plan to bring with me to Taiwan for 2 months during my visit. Is it possible to buy either prepaid/temporary cell/data plan? Kind of similar to metroPCS in states
The best place I know for this is Chunghua telecom because they offer a 2 month 1GB data plan for 180TWD(about 6-7 USD), thats what I’ve got… basically a prepaid sim card that you get charged a set amount for text/calls… no bundles for that as far as I’m aware… but you can tack on 1GB of data for pretty cheap…
These places are everywhere… just search one out and hope you get someone who’s pretty fluent in english… most people are at least somewhat proficient if not a bit shy…
