Yes there are a lot of mom/pop jewelry stores and some pawn shops. I went to a couple. They will buy gold by weight but their prices aren’t good. Since you were specifically talking about Gold Coins such as US Eagle or Canadian Maple etc these shops don’t really care about those and will price it similar to traditional gold bracelets that locals like to buy for weddings and they will lowball
