Indoor rock climbing? There are some cool places now.

Extreme Sports Center in Nangang, if they like skate boarding or BMX.

Skating
Taipei Arena, Roller 186, etc.

Hiking: Mt. Qixing, Battleship Rock, Pingxi Crags, Yinhe Cave, Sandiaoling Waterfalls

A bit of a trek from Taipei but my teenagers loved XiaoLiuQiu.

That’s like half an hour worth of cat-watching. Needs to be combined with other fun, like riding a bike from there through the new bike tunnel all the to Mudan.

Young people are drawn to cats. I think you could leave them there and pick them up in the same spot two days later.

Did a through hike with her from sandiaoling to houtong. Waterfalls, sweat, mud, mosquitoes, and in the end cats, coffee, and ice cream. This was a good one for her. She spent hours with those cats.
