i am a holder of taiwan overseas passport and a foreign passport. My employer is about to apply for a work permit (professional) for me.
can someboby advised me on which passport to use to have a better advantage in applying such?

As a holder of a Taiwan overseas passport do you not have a Taiwan ID number with it?
EDIT: I would also add that if you don’t want the hassle of the military service issue to dog you, you might as well just use your foreign passport and pretend you don’t even have a Taiwanese passport.
As for advantage or disadvantage, work permits are hard to get unless you’re pretty special for whatever it is that you want to do. Most employers won’t go through that hassle so you’re lucky.
