Metropolitan
Barcelona
Last Days of Disco?
Any help would be much appreciated.
I’ve seen all three of those about 3 or 4 times each. Easily one of my favorite film makers these days. He understands the importance of truly witty and intelligent dialogue - his characters talk like real college graduates (i.e., like most of us), not the fatuous morons Hollywood tries to condescend to us with most of the time. I guess that’s why his films always bomb. You have to keep it dumb and simple to make a blockbuster.
Just noticed this thread. I love Whit Stilman. One of my all time faves. Especially Last Days fo Disco, which is one of the best (and most underrated) movies of all time.
Don’t know where to find them though.
