I really wanna know. Please help me. I’m hungry. :bouncy:
They don’t use meat anyway, what’s the difference
Because nobody likes the sodding things anyway. Who the hell goes to McDonald’s for processed TVP?
The fast-food restaurants tailor their menus to local tastes. They don’t have McSpaghetti either - McDonald’s added that to the menu in the Philippines to compete with Jollibee.
Right! Have you noticed that fried chicken is the most popular dish at McDonald’s in Taiwan? Well, in the States, McDonald’s doesn’t even serve fried chicken!
By the way, in Germany, McDonald’s serves beer! And when you order french fries in Germany, they give you mayonnaise instead of ketchup!
And I’ve heard that in India, McDonald’s hamburgers are made of pork instead of beef, in order to avoid offending Hindus.
Cause if ya don’t eat ya meat how can ya have any pudding?.. how can ya have any pudding if ya don’t eat ya meat?
They wouldn’t really be veggie burgers if they are fried in animal fat, which everything is.
I am curious…where do they serve veggie burgers at McDonald’s? Never heard of that before.
They serve veggie burgers at McD’s back home. Never bought one, mostly 'cause on the whole I try to avoid McDungald’s.
In the UK you cant buy a veggie burger in McD’s. The BurgerKing, offers a choice of a spicy bean burger, and a veggie whooper. FYI.
Do you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese?..Royale with Cheese.
Anyways, I remember seeing veggie burgers in McDonald’s in England in '97. I think it might have had to do with all of that mad cow hullaballoo.
You remind me of that idiot when I was working drive-thru, she orders a burger, “Hold the meat”. WTF?! Why don’t you just go to the supermarket, grab a head of lettuce and a loaf of bread if that’s what you want. What kind of moron goes to McDonald’s to eat healthy vegetarian food. It’s greasy meat that’s bad for the arteries, that’s the entire purpose of fast food. Ordering a vegetarian burger is like going to a pub and ordering a milkshake.
Veggieburgers in Taiwan would not only have to be fried in their own vat of oil (ain’t gonna happen) but would also come devoid of pepper, chili or garlic… meh.
Forgive my ignorance, but where is back home?
Oops, my bad New Zealand
That avatar has never looked more appropriate.
I used to work at McDonalds when I was 16. They had veggie burgers then. It was one of the items that I used to accidently damage so I could sneak out the back and eat it.
Yeah, I used to get people coming in asking for hamburgers without the meat. I would question their order.
“Yeah, no meat please, just the sauce, pickles and shredded onion.”
“Yeah, OK, it’s your money. Would you like fries and a drink with that?”
For a country that eats pretty much all parts of the animal, veggie whatever would seem a bit strange on the menu no?
You can buy vegetarian steak at a morning market and put it between toast. I add tomatoes, lettuce, ketchup, and sometimes mushrooms.
