That truck driver deserves a lot more than he got.

Let’s see if he faces criminal charges. I hope he does.

You have to wonder if there is some background behind this… it looks targeted. Possibly not road rage… but something else.

Let’s not forget Australia’s meager population and abundance of land and natural resources…in today’s world, it makes Australia practically China’s Canada (if you know what i mean).

Add to that the submarine deal for subs they’ll never get…utter unaffordable housing

looking good oz!

Depends where you choose to live. My old man snagged a 6 bedroom for under 100,000aud (less than 2 million NTD) at the start of this year.

Time will tell about that. It is possible we won’t get the early interim submarine but we will definitely get the ones we will later build.

The Chinese won’t be able to get past Darwin. After that America will come and send its cannon fodder into the mix to take it back for us.

People will find ways to purchase property…

This family were able to afford to buy a property the size of Singapore.
Back in the day.

The Dingo ate my baby!!!

Singapore’s not that big compared to some stations and farms.

Houses in rural areas are cheap as chips.

It’s 200,000 acres, I think it’ll do. And they purchased it outright and weren’t super rich from what I can gather.

Where there’s a will there’s a way

Well this was 30 years ago. A lot easier back then is my point.
You ain’t lucky now if trying to buy a house in the cities there.

So was pretty much anywhere.

Back then the cities weren’t what they are now. Many bought/built in what were rural areas and are now city.

In the CBD it’s very difficult for the average Jo. You can find affordable properties 20-30mins from the major CBDs
Except for maybe Sydney

My dad bought in Ballarat and my sister in Geelong and myself in Sunshine (all in Victoria) and none of us have super high incomes or any fancy inheritances or anything.
Ballarat and Geelong are not that close to Melbourne but are cities in their own right and are about 1hr by train

Most people just want massive 4 bedroom houses for 3 people with a backyard (actually this is my sister which is partly why she chose Geelong, affordability)

@Brianjones Australia isn’t Ireland. Sure you could get a taste of it in the Sydney CBD though…

Australia is basically Texas turned upside down.
