Why do you teach English in Taiwan?

It would be interesting to see why people teach English in Taiwan.

I fall outside those categories. My reason: it’s fun, as jobs go. (I don’t want a career at it)

You might consider in your poll to have multiple answers and also teaching is not stictly limited to English … I teach in Taiwan to save money not to travel but to go and leave in Japan and also wish to have something better.

This hi-tech poll won’t take multiple answers. Sorry! The best way to get around that is to comment like you just did.
I, too, have several reasons for teaching English.
Maybe I should reformulate it to include, ‘a few of the above apply’…
