So I travel to Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines… And notice that the MTV is nearly 100% regional and even international in music videos, content, news, advertising, etc. where you can catch glimpses of regional and international artists, and advertising about regional shows, concerts, etc. like Zoukout or A-Mei or big artists around the region… but Taiwan is 90% the same simple local content as all the other local tv stations.

Because MTV, like most of the cable channels here, sucks. If they really wanted to attract attention, they would be showing the new Beavis and Butthead videos :roflmao: .
Here is another thing; Most of the local music scene from Taiwan is pretty pathetic. They would never catch on in other regions the way Korea has. Therefore they need one place that will show their artists, because nobody else will.
