After all these years, it never improves and only gets worse with each update. So many issues. Constant crashes and freezing. So many weird bugs. The last update left my iTunes Store to not show pictures of albums or movies on the screen. Now it keeps freezing every time I try to play a movie I’ve bought.
This is the worst written software I’ve ever used and it just keeps getting worse. The worst search function ever imo. Just can’t think of a good thing about it.
This is what you get in a closed ecosystem without any competition.
I’d pretty much agree with the comment above this one. Apple products are irritating. I used iPhones for years, thought they were the best things going, but after switching to a Samsung last year quickly realized I was wrong.
I haven’t messed with iTunes in a while, but yeah, I generally avoid anything from Apple.
Remember when iTunes automatically downloaded a U2 album on everyone’s phone that no one wanted (because no one ever wants anything U2 has done post-2001 or so)? And then acted like it was this awesome gift, instead of just them pushing shitty music that no one in their right mind would buy through intrusive measures that took up precious memory space.
I like the OS for the iPhone, but that’s about it. It’s simple and easy. I don’t like it for the Mac, and since I spend most of my time on excel, pc just works better for it.
But iTunes is just terrible. Especially on the computer. There’s always some issues and it always freezes on me. It also takes up a ridiculous amount of ram.
