WHat we are talking about is JhenJhu NaiCha, which translated into English is “Pearl Milk Tea.” It is a Taichung beverage, and is known locally as “Pearl Milk Tea” in English.
As for the so-called “bubbles”, those aren’t bubbles, they are solid balls inside, without air as in a bubble. Actually, there is “Bubble Tea”, referred to as Paomo Cha in Mandarin. So, your moniker of “Bubble Milk Tea” actually would be Paomo Naicha in Mandarin.
