This system is f’ing cool…the controls are unbelievably accurate and all the sport games it comes with are great! Tennis, bowling, golf, boxing and baseball. I also have Excite Truck, WSOP2007, and Trauma (the operation game).

A good formula I’ve worked out for Taiwan Wii release is “Current Date + 30 Days.”
But wiil it talk English? Or wiil it be Chinese and Japanese only?

The Mii stuff is region locked too, a Japanese box can only connect to Japanese servers.

I’m in BC and the demand is still outragous here. Alot of stores can only get a few in at a time and they are sold within the hour of getting them. It might be awhile until the Wii becomes more available…happy wii hunting.
But if you want a Wii and money is not an object…I’m pretty sure you can buy one on www.craigslist.org or ebay. The prices are insane…but if you can’t wait…it’s the only way you’ll get one.

Pubba, I had to bite the bullet and order one off ebay and have my brother send it over…couldn’t stand it any longer!
It arrived here the same day my wife had our second child, so now I haven’t had much time to play with it. My daughter LOVES it, though.
I love the Wii. Sometimes i think the graphics could be a little better…but for games like Wii Sports, Wario Smooth Moves…the graphics just fit. I have WSOP2007 and it sucks. The Wii wasn’t designed for games that don’t fully use the Wii controllers.

I agree about the graphics, too - I wish they were just a little better. I am thinking about getting the new Godfather game when it comes out, but I want to see what it will look like on the Wii first.
BTW, what do you think of the new poll channel? pretty weak. I like the news, though.
I have the Godfather for the xbox. The graphics and storyline are great, but I’m not sure the graphics will be the same quality for the Wii. I think it’s wise to get yourself an xbox or ps2 for those kind of games and save the Wii for games that fully use the Wii Controllers. In TW, burnt games are soo cheap for both xbox and ps2 its totally worth buying either system.
Poll Channel? I haven’t had my Wii hooked up for a couple weeks…the wife and I are in the process of moving into our new house…i’ll have to check it out though. As for the News and Weather Channel…pretty cool.
I wonder when Nintendo will set up online play between Wii consoles?? Just like xbox live…wouldn’t it be sweet to play wii tennis with someone across the world?!
