Have a look at this video I shot this afternoon while going for an oil change.
Amazing.
I’ll post the other, still pictures later.

That is huge!
See ? I told you dogs can drive.
She could be in for a big fine … but then there are no laws in Taiwan, and even if there are some they are just a suggestion, or have to be broken … and the woman is stupid
Shouldn’t the dog be wearing a helmet?
Animal protection in Taiwan?
BTW, isn’t this animal abuse?
I once saw a orangutan riding on a scooter in wanli. Happily sitting behind his owner just like a human !!! I thought it was a guy in an orange coat, until I looked closer !! And yes I was sober.

HAHA that was hilarious. Thats how Taiwanese walk their dogs huh?
Most people here don’t put helmets on their kids…nevermind dogs. i myself has spent more than 10 000NT on letting Sambuka travel with me safely. I can’t imagine ANYONE endangering the life of their kid/dog.
It really wasnt safe, she should really have taken a cab and let the dog ride home by himself !!
Are you sure it is not a bear?
Kidding though.
It is a very big dog.
I doubt the woman can see anything clearly when it stood in front of her.
Helmets for dogs,I think it is a good business idea.
As a safety measure, the dog should really be riding in the back.
That’s the dog that killed the goats! Now he’s kidnapping a young woman!!! Quick, get him!!!
Seriously though, that dog looks like it just loves to ride scooter. It’s nonchalant demeanor makes it look like it thinks this is quite the normal thing to do. Helmet? Get him some shades!!

I like the way hes actually sitting on the seat?? thas way cool
I’ve been toying with the idea of taking my scooter onto the race track in LongTan with my dog on it. Would make for an interesting video.
My dog has ridden on my scooter from Taipei to Kenting full circle 6 times. She likes it. I could ship her in a box on some train…and I could also leave her tied up on my roof 24/7 and then she’d be really safe.

Before his brutal murder, my dog used to love scooter rides. Especially out of the city, where the scents would send him into rapture. His life was no more endangered than mine was on those rides. With due care, the correct choice of route, good timing, and an ability to read the inept, dangerous drivers, it can be done quite effectively.
Granted he was about 1/7th the size of that English Sheepdog in the OP’s photo.
How does that poor beast stay well-groomed & vermin free?
Sorry to hear about your dog Gingerman. Do you have a link to a thread where it’s discussed?
I might have alluded to it in a few threads, but I still don’t feel like discussing it much. Cause= Purposedly placed poisoned meat. A few dogs died, some we’re saved. I’ll start a thread after I have accidently on purpose put Payback Plan # 2.7 into effect. I know the perp., yet it’s not my neighborhood. Awaiting futher developments before psy ops are utilized in the extreme.
Yet, I digress.
