The only thing my father asked to bring him back from Taiwan was a wooden model tall ship. Basically a scale model ship with sails where the deck is actually wood and not plastic. I have been to a few model shops and only found submarines, helicopters and Gundam. Anybody know of a place in Taipei?
Could you try calling the Taipei Minatures Museum? they have a store selling a great variety of models. If you are not interested in visiting the museum (which is actually a very nice museum to visit), just call them and ask if they can help.
