Hi all, I would just like to know if the labor department will do some kind of a background check. My future employer is asking me to provide a 2 year work experience for work permit application in which my current company is able to provide. Currently, I don’t have a work permit for the company I working on now (I only do it part-time, once a week). And now, I’m just a bit worried in the application if the labor department will do some background check related to my 2 years working experience because I don’t have a work permit for my part-time job now. You won’t be able to use illegal work here as valid experience. It’s always been that way.
