WORK PERMIT for english teacher (passport not from US)

If you wanna teach english but do not hold a passport from one of the english speaking countries, what can you do?

Also, would it make sense trying to get a different kind of job rather than engl teaching? Would getting a work permit be harder or easier? Does it matter which country you are from in this case?

THANKS!

Which country are we talking about here?

Yes, you can -and actually, have no other choice- but to go on any other line of business EXCEPT teaching English if your passport is not from any of The Chosen Ones.

It would matter say, if you were to teach French and you have a German passport, for instance. Then I’d think it would be hard for authoritie sto give you a permit.

Also remember not all businesses can hire you. Each enterprise who wants to hire a foreigner has to justify such hiring by saying there is no one here who can do whwtever it is you do -which is why the Government asks you to have at least 2 years experience- plus a certain amount of business -over 5 or 10 million, depending- taxes all in order, and other requisites for the enterprise.

In summary, look for places wher eother foreigners already work.
