If a local company engages a company from overseas to conduct a one-off workshop in Taiwan, does the company require to apply for a work permit here for the individual who will conduct the workshop?
I believe the answer is yes, you need some sort of special permit. I read it a long time ago so don’t put much stock in it. I’d say search the govt websites or call NIA but I know how helpful they would be in special cases like this where most people just do it anyway without official permission.
