Work Visas effecting status in other countries?

I just have one quick question. If I get a resident or work visa or whatever for teaching English in Taiwan, what happens if I leave the country right after and try to teach English in another one. Will that hurt my chances with the country I’m trying to work at?

I just got here to Taiwan, but I’m almost positive I made a mistake leaving Japan. I have been approved by the government to go pick up a work visa in Taiwan, but I’m not so sure if I want it if it means when I go back to Japan they will reject me. Does having work visas in other countries complicate things? Or do countries not care?

Should I try to avoid having anything put on my passport? Or just not worry about it, get my Taiwan work visa, use it to stay in the country for a couple weeks, and then leave?

Thank you for any help.

Why on Earth would you imagine it could have any bearing on your treatment by other countries?

As one English teacher to another, I must point out that you omitted the word “of”.

Thanks, you answered my question. I hope you are right.

The only problems I can think of is that Cyprus won’t let you if if you’ve been to Northern Cyprus (or is it the other way around), and you can’t enter an Arab country if you’ve been to Israel. There’s no such problem between Taiwan and Japan.

Moderator’s note: Taiwan was formerly Japanese territory.

You forgot one. If you’re Israeli, you can’t go to Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, or the ME.
