Wuhan lab leak theory

and the original paper:

The fact that such an informative data set was deleted has implications beyond those gleaned directly from the recovered sequences.

There is no plausible scientific reason for the deletion: the sequences are perfectly concordant with the samples described in Wang et al. (2020a,b), there are no corrections to the paper, the paper states human subjects approval was obtained, and the sequencing shows no evidence of plasmid or sample-to-sample contamination. It therefore seems likely the sequences were deleted to obscure their existence. Particularly in light of the directive that labs destroy early samples (Pingui 2020) and multiple orders requiring approval of publications on COVID-19 (China CDC 2020; Kang et al. 2020a), this suggests a less than wholehearted effort to trace early spread of the epidemic.

It will be the digital forensics that gets China on this in the end, all the data has to corroborate so any sign of interference will just point to guilt.

We’re never going to nail the CCP, even when they are found out about the lab leak they won’t suffer. Their people will still be told the virus came from Italy or wherever.

The people we need to nail are the CCP enablers in democratic countries. They are the 5th Columnists.

If any of you guys can understand this original paper, please do read it ! It’s a fascinating smoking gun, pointing right at that lab, and at CCP cover up of the origins of the Wuhan virus.

You definitely need to be wearing both your bioinformatics and your viral genetics hats.

Well, they would say that, wouldn’t they?

that reminds me, remember last year when that researcher working at UC Davis was found to be lying about their CCP military ties, and she ran and hid inside the Chinese Consulate?

Apparently she was released on bail – someone named “Mr. C” paid $750,000 usd. SO much weird stuff going on man…

Yet more signs it was humanized because there’s no way this thing crossed over to humans directly from a bat.

Seems the preponderance of evidence makes the lab leak the leading theory, doesn’t it?

I bet The Donald is laughing his ass off over all this.

At what point does the naturally occurring theory become the conspiracy theory? I suppose it always was as it was the usual bs fed to the WHO by the CCP.

Does anyone seriously think it didn’t come from the lab?

For me, the only debate is accident or on purpose.

I think it was an accident. Someone messed up and tried to hide it.

Lol. That’s why we have a “no cats” policy in our labs.

The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) said it sent the 15 strains of viruses on a commercial flight to China “for the purpose of scientific research” in March, 2019.

But soon after the shipment, Dr Xiangguo Qiu and her biologist husband Keding Cheng were marched out of the Winnipeg-based lab and stripped of their security clearance, CBC News reports.

The couple and their graduate students from China were escorted from the lab in July, 2019 and officially fired in January, 2020.

Several computers were seized, a lab log book was missing and Qiu’s regular trips to Wuhan were suspended, sources told CBC News.

This guy’s about a year and a half too late to save any credibility for himself or the organization he has destroyed by pandering to a government that he should have known could not be trusted.

There must be evidence coming.

First they say it didn’t come from the lab. Now it has turned into accidents happen.

Sounds to me like they are getting in the excuses first.

[Tedros] said he was asking China to be more transparent as scientists search for the origins of the coronavirus.

Good luck with that.

“I was a lab technician myself, I’m an immunologist, and I have worked in the lab, and lab accidents happen,” Tedros said. “It’s common.”

Sounds like we’re all fecked, then.

It’s game over for the CCP. World knows they leaked it from the Wuhan Lab, and likely on purpose to retaliate for the trade war. Either way, CCP has no path forward on the world stage, the world has tried peacefully for decades to enable China to blossom into a democracy, and instead China’s government become even more oppressive, aggressive, and even genocidal.

The US and Allied Nations will probably give some kind of ultimatum to Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party for their roll in the Covid pandemic, in the next 4 or 5 years, like Bush’s Ultimatum to Saddam:

Or they might just carry on kowtowing to their new overlords.
