I’ve noticed that in the English comments of China post articles, pro-ROC and pro-Taiwan comments aren’t getting approved, while pro-PRC anti-ROC type comments are there on every article. English speaking wumao moderating the comment section, perhaps?
It’s only been in the last couple of months or so.
China Post was owned by important KMT figures, and is currently ran by an ex-legislator from KMT. If it is anti-ROC, then you know where the KMT really stands on preserving the ROC these days.
My pet theory was they hired a pro-communist ABC for 40k a month, and that monolingual management have no idea what’s going on. But maybe you’re right.
The paper always leaned blue but you used to get opposing viewpoints in the comments.
