Would anyone want to help contribute to this fine website . Thereās nothing there now, but now that I have my new digicam I can go on Binlang missiosn all through Taipei county (and down south).
I think Iām just going to install a gallery program so people can upload pictures themselves and anyone could leave comments (vote and all that stuff).
Seemed like itād be a fun thing to do. Whacha thinks?

Thatās what makes it all the more fun! My first attempt to take any pictures came out totally terrible (I was trying to be 007 about it using a newspaper ). I have new ideas now, so more bold than others (Having a zoom lense and higher Megapixels, for digital zooming, is part of one of the less bold ideas).
I guess weāll have to wait and see whether the MTkid and others can come up with better pics.
Me? No, no⦠I donāt have the photographic equipment nor the camouflage skills and patience to disguise myself from the Da Ge in order to get a snap or two.
However, Iāll be keeping a close watch for MTkidās galleries.
Notice that the collections of foreignersā photos are all surreptitious and sneaky, but the Taiwan dude (http://www.inter-asia.org/journal/correlative_photo/vol1/02/01htm.htm) got them to pose for him. Thatās what you need to do, otherwise, it looks like some kind of dodgy photo fettish action!
I wish! Canāt stand the stuff. I donāt look good with red lips and teeth and I find the whole idea of spitting red stains everywhere quite repulsive.
Now, buying cigarettes and drinks from them is an entirely different matter. For that I am indeed a paying customer. The beauties even know me by name ⦠I often get the āHello Stahley ow ah u tohay?ā treatment from the local beauties close to my house.
MTK, gotta get stan a camera pronto. Itāll be perfect I tell you
stan, I should get you and the Mainlander hooked up Hsinchu. Mainlander is suffering there and needs some hanging out buddies. You could also PM him tooā¦
Iāve got some photos fromt he net stashed away somewhere too. If you want to take photos, do so openly. Say something like āIām taking photos for a story about betelnut girlsā.
I think Iāve seen the same series. I received it from someone by e-mail a year or two ago as did many others, most likely. In fact, I think the below is one clip from that series.
Enough to make a man start chewing the nut. I agree with the above posters, though, about asking the girls for permission. Not only is it common courtesy (and Iām sure a fair number would consent), and it will result in much better close-up shots, but otherwise the collection of photos looks like it was snapped by a perv, the kind of guy who lurks in the bushes behind a nude beach snapping secret photos, but thatās just my opinion.
Someone linked to my site above. Most of those pictures come from various sources with quite a few from Michael Turtonās website. My favourite BNG photo is this one. I just love the expression on her face (and the rest of her is pretty nice too )
BNGās really are a rich and interesting subject for a photo essay. I think the collection of photos says a lot about Taiwan and the womenās lives. There is beauty contrasted with ugliness and boredom contrasted with excitement.
Let me know how you go with the site miltownkid. I will link it up to mine.
