well, i’ve always known that as a clamp in Oz, all sizes and varieties therfof. maybe people have called it a cramp and i have heard the word clamp instead…

i have heard of a cramp as a right angle piece of metal used to hold bricks together in a corner or return on a brick wall.

apart from that, a cramp is something i get in my feet after a long day cycling…

vice grips.
shifter or shifting spanner.
hose clamp
cable ties not Zipties.
duct tape, not duck tape… although there is a brand Duck in the states that makes such tape, it is not for securing fowl… nothing beats black Nashua Gaffer tape though. it holds the music and theatre universes together. it can also probably tie up a duck or two.

A lot ofpeople call this a monkey wrench which is not correct.

This is a monkey wrench.

useful for removing the brains of monkeys prior to lightly tossing them in hot pan in a little butter, sage and garlic.

i think you’re perhaps in the wrong thread.
