It might help if you actually provide some prices, at least if this is meant to be targeting consumers, as it’s hard to know if your prices are competitive or not. Otherwise there are a few things I would consider, but it all really depends on how much it is. Also, some of the items, like for example the 2.75kg tin of Jalapeño seems to be more catering grade than something any sensible consumer would ever purchase.

I agree. There are some items in your list that I’m very interested in, but there’s no way that I’m going to bother with a to-and-fro via e-mail. Do you have a particular reason why you don’t list prices?

I emailed asking for a price list but did not receive one, although I did receive a nice, friendly and prompt reply with a product list.

Their business model is that you must specify the items you are interested in, and then they can quote you a price and the shipping cost. I imagine that this is so that they can give you an all-in quote, including shipping, or so that they can offer discounts if you are buying in quantity. If you are interested in doing so, you can email them.

Personally, I prefer to see product prices up front (including separate columns for quantity discounts). I have suggested to YiWei Foods that they consider providing this information.

Has anyone here ordered from Yiwei with a satisfactory or unsatisfactory experience?

Yiweifoods has just sent me an update of their product list. Many of the food items that are mentioned here that are hard to find are now carried by Yiwei They include items like navy beens, cornmeal, corn hardshell taco shells, cottage cheese, etc. The list is long so I didn’t copy and paste. I have also encoraged them to implement a website and to post it.
In the mean time, if interested, email them and they will send a product list.
