On August 31st, in Jhong Jheng Park , Keelung-----I found a young hungry tick infested Beagle. I guess he is close to a year old. We bathed him and then took him to the vet for his rabies shot and license. He’s very well behaved—affectionate----loves to run and gets on very nicely with children and other dogs. He had no collar or chip when found. If any one knows his parents or would love to provide him with a loving home [ no kennel or cage users] please contact us. Tigerman----please if you read this-----help us put up an ad in Taipei. I had the mixed white Shar-Pei [Chinese husband] and use to live in your neighborhood. Thank you to anyone that can help find this poor sweet thing a home—or has info on his parents.By the way----my husband said–this dog is great for hiking.–He’s able to climb—jump and keep up on the trail.
Any news? I’ve read this post before and rooting for the dog finding home, but can’t help myself good luck and let us know of any progress~
[Slideshare][/Slideshare]Thank you----How kind-----We’re going to keep him----- Since we lost our sweet boy in May we’ve been looking in our area[ we feed street animals nightly-so we’re always in the park] for an abandoned big headed beasty darling to share our home with----We’re not big fans of store bought pure breeds----We’re Mutt lovers!!! However----this Beagle is so loving–quietly playful–walks well without a leash—comes when called----- plus knowing no one would probably want him --------after all-- he was dumped-------we gratefully accepted his offer to share our home—The situation isn’t ideal or close to perfect-----He gets car sick----which means we must leave him home often–[ he doesn’t fuss, bark or cry ]–no shopping malls-----no far away beaches or mountains for him to climb–Another problem is—he’s so loving and friendly with other dogs —he won’t fight back or run if attacked–He knows nothing about aggresstion–We are always on protective alert------Well ----to have such a loving buddy to share our lives with-----it’s worth it!!! Thank you again for asking.

That’s great!
As for car sickness my dog used to be car sick too, but it passed with age. Also my dad figured a way to tie his doggie harness short to the sits so he wouldn’t bounce so much while driving. Good luck!
