Hello fellow forumosans,
I want to take a week and go somewhere nice, with beaches, sometime later this month or early in July.
Been to Thailand, Malaysia. Interested in Philippines or Indonesia.
Reccomendations for a fairly cheap place with god beaches, yummy food and not overly protracted connections (bus,plane, camel, etc…) required.

There’s always Bali. I think the travel ads in the Typo Times had packages starting at only about US$300 – I don’t have the paper in front of me, though, so I might be confusing it with another destination.
Okinawa is really underrated. It’s very nice.
Boracay (phillipines)…check weather first.
I second Boracay. Beutiful beach DIRT CHEAP! and AWSOME FOOD! I will definately go back.
What is the transit time from Manila to Boracay?
Is it a flight, bus, train?
