You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch

Well, I just tried to send a simple text email wishing a former coworker a “Merry Christmas” to his work email account (the only one I know).

The company(a major manufacturer)'s email system automatically bounced the email from its system for “unapproved content”.

I changed “Merry Christmas” to “Marry Chris Moose”, and it worked.

Happy Notable Week Day to all the militant secularist bastards out there.

Would “Happy Holiday” work? I wonder if “Happy Birthday” gets bounced because it distracts workers from their tasks? At the same time I know an ex coworker who would send several gig of ‘funny’ emails EVERY DAY and do no work.

As a godless atheist, a bleeding-heart liberal and also a quite niggardly person, I am wholeheartedly with you, MaPo. Down with the language police!
