Im interested in purchasing an house in Taipei. I can pay cash and no need to get loan since i will sell some proprieties in my country. After the permission has been granted from the Ministry of interior can i apply for arc even without a work but just by owning the propriety?

There are investment visas available, but not for passive investments in real estate. You have to start a business, invest in a business, or invest a very large sum in government bonds for a certain number of years.
I think it’s also not allowed to use as a commercial property isn’t it? can’t rent it to others or airbnb…
You can have it for personal purpose like living there…
In the ol country we do have this provision, to give people residence if they buy a house/property. But then we also have the retiree resident visa, you can retire and buy a house, brind furniture without being taxed and other benefits as long as you reside in the country X number of days at least. Taiwan does not have that.
