Probably don’t steal from the person that you had to pull into their building with security and CCTV to pick up…Dumb ass cab driver. I left the car with my friend and immediately noticed I didn’t have my phone that I was texting with in the cab. My friend called. It ringed the first time and then it was shut off. Got the plate number and reported to the police. I hope they catch the ass hole. Another reason I uber more and more. This is the second time in 3 years where a taxi driver stole my phone. I wear basketball shorts often in the summer, and they sometimes fall out when I get out. Didn’t catch the first one, but got CCTV on my side this time.
Good luck getting your phone back! But if you have CCTV footage, it shouldn’t be much of an issue.
I actually have the same issue with basketball shorts. They sometimes just fall down. Very annoying and sometimes annoying!

What can they do with a stolen / missing smartphone?
Sell it as a second-handed smartphone?
There’s ways to unlock it, but require a good amount of effort.
