The Foundation Program (FP) is open to anyone who would like an opportunity to deepen their understanding and experience of Buddhism through systematic weekly teachings and guided meditations.
In-depth study on the book, Universal Compassion, a commentary to Geshe Chekhawa’s Training the Mind in Seven Points by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. This book is about transforming even the most difficult daily life experiences into opportunities for spiritual growth through developing and enhancing minds of universal love and compassion.

The Teacher
Gen Kelsang Tonglam is the National Spiritual Director for East Asia of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union and Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Taiwan. Gen Tonglam has studied and practised Kadampa Buddhism for over twenty years under the guidance of his Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. He is renowned for his ability to present Buddha’s most profound teachings in simple and most practical ways, injecting a renewed enthusiasm and driving force in our ordinary life.
