I had no idea Malaysia was that violent a place.
Sad to hear. I was just in Malaysia last month, nothing but a good experience when I was there.
They all sound like assassinations involving personal disputes or gang members.

Living in Taiwan it’s easy to forget that most of the Far East is a bit of a shambles. Malaysia has a lot of apparent wealth because they’re busy burning through a vast amount of natural capital; they’ve never been forced by circumstance to sort themselves out like, say, Singapore, so they don’t.
Also it seems that killers for hire are relatively cheap over there.
