New member here. Not certain if this the correct forum but here goes.
I recently received a very needed bank draft from a Canadian institution. I do have a bank account here but they will not cash it immediately as my account is newer than 3 months. Are there any institutions that won’t put a hold on it? I’m prepared to open an account with them if that’s what is necessary. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
My bank has an app so I can take of picture of my draft and it will deposit with just a picture. I then destroy the original once deposit is completed. I then transfer the money to Taiwan by a variety of methods or just ATM it. Sometimes its completed and available within a couple hours but never longer than one business day.
Maybe your bank at home has something similar.
