Ordering books in a bookstore

Hello, i’ve been to a bookstore (eslite) lately. They have a record on a certain book that i like but currently not on stock. Can i have them order the book and how do i say it in chinese? Thanks.

Yes, I think they will. You can say 這本書可以幫我訂嗎?(zhe ben shu keyi bang wo ding ma?) 訂 “ding4” means “order”.

This website is pretty good, too, if you can get the account set up. They can also deliver. I’m not sure if they deliver to your home, but they can deliver to a convenience store near you.

This might be faster than asking Eslite to order it for you.

Thanks you!

I was searching on that site before but its more expensive there than the ones i saw in eslite… Hoping to find this book https://goo.gl/images/VuKTwI
